The story behind our interior Showroom location
Neyland is the ancestral home of the Audrey Johns business. Our beating heart is on the banks of the River Cleddau along the bustling Milford Haven Waterway. Neyland is where our founder, Audrey, made her first pair of curtains and the town which supported her first steps into commercial high street premises. All of our staff members have been trained in-house and have a unique skill set, pride and work ethic which we find in abundance in our smaller, family town community.
In the 1950s Neyland was the main terminal at the other end of Paddington, London. A statue of Isambard Kingdom Brunel stands sentinel to Brunel Quay – and while the narrow gauge trains are no more – a thriving marina and marine related manufacturing community remains. Many boating enthusiasts who moor their boats in Neyland Marina call into the Audrey Johns Showroom for our bespoke seat covering services. More about that in coming editions of Showroom…
Did you know?
Company Directors, George and Jane Johns live in Chiswick, London during the week. From this base they work with the country’s top interior designers, room designing, measuring, consulting and coordinating the delivery and installation of soft furnishings to some of the most prestigious London addresses. August has seen the company moving into new office premises in Soho, Central London, a landmark moment in the continued growth of the business to further enhance our client support within the corporate interior design services.
