We are a proud supporter of Furnishing Futures, a charity creating healing homes that bring hope and dignity to women and children who have escaped domestic abuse and been placed in empty social housing. They focus on trauma-informed, fully furnished spaces for those facing furniture poverty and multiple disadvantages.
They do this by saving quality furniture from landfill through partnerships with the interiors industry to furnish these homes for families, while they collaborate with domestic abuse services, grassroots organisations, and UK interiors brands, to create social impact and support a circular economy.
We are proud to support Furnishing Futures by carefully curating and personally delivering soft furnishings to this wonderful registered charity.
Our involvement with this wonderful organisation has been inspired by our very own The Remnant Room, which is fast becoming the place to go in Pembrokeshire for the highest quality, repurposed ‘Vinted‘ soft furnishings.
